Swirly Birds

Today is a rainy day … typical of this time in November … so I decided to create a few bright ‘Swirly Birds’ which are only small (50 x 50 stitches) so are a lovely mini cross stitch to add to a napkin, teatowel or pillowcase as a simple present.

I stitched this on 28 count evenweave linen, with 2 strands of DMC cotton – and will let you know what I decide to make!

I have just done a project for my column for Cross Stitcher Magazine based on these ideas… but you will have to wait until February to see the finished results!

Meanwhile I will load up a couple of mini charts to our CROSS STITCH CHARTS section, and perhaps even something a little later for our FREE PROJECTS page.

Hope it brightens up your day x
